Findlay Art League was organized April 20,
1948 as an outgrowth of the Adult Education Class in Art sponsored by the
Findlay Board of Education. It is the oldest continuing Art organization
in the area and is composed of both professional and amateur artists.
FAL was incorporated in 1959 as a non-profit
organization whose purpose is to advance the knowledge of art in the community
and give its members an opportunity to express themselves through various media,
study and work together and exhibit their art.
