Photographers' work
chosen for juried exhibit
LIMA — The work of several area photographers was chosen for inclusion in the Lima ArtSpace/ Lima Photography Club Juried Photography Exhibition, which opened Jan. 11 in Lima.
The exhibition contains 82 photos created by 32 area artists including many entered by Findlay artists Marianna Hofer, Roland Smith, Christine Galusky, Tim Powell, Krisztina Kedmenec and Garth Beatty.
The local artists received the following awards: Smith, first place, Special Effects class, for "Duomo," and honorable mention, Architecture class, "The Carriage House;" Kedmenec, second place, Architecture class, for "Colors of Detroit;" Galusky, honorable mentions, Animal class, "Larger than Life," and Portrait class, "Sunset Solo;" Hofer, second place, Landscape class, "Rawson Building," and honorable mention, Portrait class, "In the Back Ballroom."
The exhibition runs through Feb. 24.
